Triumphs
I am a Past-President of the Ottawa Valley Triumph Club (OVTC), was Editor of our newsletter (Overdrive) for 2 years, and am currently webmaster for our club website. I have rebuilt the engine, transmission, and rear axles in our 1973 TR6, as well as completely refurbished the interior. My current project is a frame-off restoration of a 1956 TR3. We also owned a 1971 Triumph GT6. Marjorie and I get a great deal of pleasure out of driving and maintaining our classic British sports cars and participating in OVTC events.

Here are a few technical tips and articles I've written for Overdrive:
Supplementary Hood Release
Accelerator Shaft Bushings
Plexiglas Scraper
Wiring 101

Woodworking
I have a fully equipped woodworking shop and have spent many enjoyable hours making a wide range of things from small toys to a full set of kitchen cabinets. Over the last 30 years, I have renovated every room in our house to transform it from a "winterized cottage" to a permanent home with full basement and attached double garage and workshop.

Golf
I am a member and marshal at eQuinelle Golf Club, and an active participant in events sanctioned by the Ottawa Valley Golf Association. I conducted a survey of Club Captains to look for ways to improve men's night at area golf clubs, and based on the survey lead a team that restructured men's night at The Rideau Glen Golf Course in Kemptville, where I was Club Captain for more than a decade. More recently, I undertook a survey related to junior golf, to understand how different clubs organize and manage their junior activities.
